What You Think About This Trade?

There have been rumors that the warriors have been trying to get Ron Artest and I don't think this would be a bad one.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

What You Think About This Trade?nba rules

good but the warriors are not likely to deal barnes

What You Think About This Trade?nba live ,nba teams

Just what the Warriors need... another thug
As i said before, if the Kings trade Artest, they would want picks and young players. Pietrus rumors to be traded have somewhat quieted down, but he;s not a bad fit for a rebuilding team. Barnes is more meant for a contender. O'Bryant was a high pick and is a good, young trade piece, but this isn;t enough for Artest.

good idea though.

Is tihis a good trade?nba draft lottery

Why would the Bucks do this? You're giving up two young big men and your best player for an older big man and a good 6th man.

Is tihis a good trade?nba lottery ,nba teams

No, Michael redd is too good to be involved in this trade. Maybe the other two, but not redd.
NO!
no
No. You're trading the Bucks 3 best players for Pau Gasol and Mike Miller......who were on losing team last year.
no, its not. milwaukee is not going to trade away their entire nucleus for a decent player in pau and a bad contract in mike miller

Would Philly make this trade? I think its pretty even.?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

Would Philly make this trade? I think its pretty even.?nba schedule

Beings the question is, Would Philly make this trade, Absolutely, Billy King is a horrible GM, Now as far as you thinking it is pretty even, It is no where close to being even, Iggy, He can be a temporary star for the Sixers, I don't think it can stay like that because I don't think he has the personality to be a number 1, To me, Iggy is more of a Scottie Pippen, But he is still better than Webster regardless, Jarret Jack and Louis Williams, That is a close on, I think they both have potential, So would Philly do it, Billy King never seizes to amaze me, Is it even, Not by a longshot

Would Philly make this trade? I think its pretty even.?nba mock drafts ,nba teams

I highly doubt that Philly would give up such great young talent that Andre Iguodala posses. He's gonna be so good in a few years, I don't think they would even consider this trade. Iguodala is pretty much their go-to guy now that Iverson is gone. So ultimately, Philly would probably not do this trade.
Philly would be stupid to make this deal
Nope, maybe if AI was about 32 and had about 32 arrests or police mishaps
not a bad trade at all. but i don't think it would happen. The Blazers wouldn't give up all 3...however, i don't see the 76ers trade Iggy inless its for a young superstar...that Iguodala might become.Louis Williams has always been a good prospect to me. 20 years old, and he has potentional, just like everyone else in this trade.

Miami - New York Trade?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

Miami - New York Trade?nba draft order

as a knick fan i would do this in a heart beat.as jack t said...Randolph is a black hole...he never met a shot he did not like.we need all the expiring contracts we can get.

Miami - New York Trade?nba draft history ,nba teams

zach randolph makes charles barkley look stick skinny.

but that aside, dwyane wade would have fits if riley went ahead on this trade. i'm sure they can turn jason williams' expiring contract into something better than a guy who is like a black hole in the post. granted, he's not a bad player, but i'm not really sure about how well he fits into the heat's revamped roster or with their chemistry. the team just got rid of shaq and brought in the more athletic marion so they could be uptempo, something randolph would have a problem with.

its not outrageous, but not something miami would be interested in. obviously, new york will do anything to get rid of one of their huge contracts, so new york wouldnt be opposed to it.

How about this 3 way trade between Utah, Suns & Lakers?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

How about this 3 way trade between Utah, Suns %26amp; Lakers?nba draft picks

you've gotta be a Phoenix suns fan, no way in hell is this ever gonna be considered. as a Laker fan it would be nice, i'd like it but your pretty much assuming that Utah wants to rebuild.

How about this 3 way trade between Utah, Suns %26amp; Lakers?nba playoffs ,nba teams

No Way!

Because Okur is valuble.
Terrible for Utah. Okur is too valuable.
Why can't you get this through your head? NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY WITH KOBE BRYANT! That's why the Lakers cannot make a trade for any decent players.

Aren't you the same slime that proposed the "black slaves" theory question?

Is this a reasonable trade?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

Is this a reasonable trade?nba gear

Very Reasonable. However, I don't think Sacremento wants to get rid of both Artest and Martin.

It's nice to see the ESPN Trade Machine used reasonably once in a while.

Is this a reasonable trade?nba finals 2007 ,nba teams

Nope.

There's no way, Wizards will trade 2 All Stars (Jamison %26amp; Buttler) for Odom and Artest. If not for the season-ending injuries of Arenas %26amp; Butler, it could have been the Wizards in the East Finals instead of Cleveland.
hmmm...great trade though!
Awesome Trade! It works out perfectly for all 4 teams.
im a laker fan so i love the trade

finally kobe will get sum help

bynum sux..we would've had jason kidd if we got rid andrew
On paper that is great. Kobe would like it, gilbert probley would. o'neal would. but i dont kno if it would work out
ummm no
It would never work because overall the Wizards give up too much (2 All-Stars), the Lakers give up their top prospect (Bynum) which they have so far refused to do, and Indiana loses O'Neal who is much better than Jamison and Martin. Sacramento would love this trade though, they get rid of a problem player, Artest, and get a young All-Star in exchange.

Crazy freakin Kidd trade.?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

Crazy freakin Kidd trade.?nba street homecourt

very unexpected trade. i didn't see it coming

Crazy freakin Kidd trade.?nba salary cap ,nba teams

I have just seen it. All I can say is "WOW"! I have never seen a deal that big. If there has been one, please enlighten me. I am waiting for my son to call so he can explain it all to me!
WOW...thats some whack trade?!?!?!? J-Kid is getting old himself and like they traded enough of their young roster to New Jersey...it's as terrible as the Shaq trade or maybe even worse:S
i cant believe the mavs traded a young player like devin harris for a veteran like jason kidd
who cares
so who this trade is going to benefit mavs or nets ?? i still cant get it . is this a really good trade for mavs !
ROFL another knee jerk reaction by a Western Conference team to the Lakers trade and trying to keep up with them. There goes the Mavericks' bench and their 3 point shooting

Kidd is a stat machine and grabs rebounds and runs out in the break but sucks at shooting from the perimeter and shooting 3s where he will be most needed. who do the Mavs have to run with Kidd? Only Josh Howard, that is it

Dirk would much rather park himself in the 3 point line

And they don't have any other athletic finishers on the team.

Jason Terry is on the decline and it looks like he will be there Shootin Guard and he is also a strictly perimeter player

Eric Dampier is inconsistent and he is getting old and always deals with injuries...so the Mavs are going even smaller and giving up Diop and taking a PF to pair up with Brandon Bass? LMFAO

They also gave up 2 future first round picks...i know its kinda meaningless becaue they might be in the late 20s but if Kidd's bad back starts acting up and this team goes nowhere then Kidd's big fat contrax puts the Mavs in Salary Cap hell and now they have an aging super start taking up a lot of space in their payroll while the future picks will be benefiting New Jersey in the deep drafts coming up

There goes their only quality and young future PG who they were planning on developing....The Mavs won't get past the first round FSHO and they have mortgaged their future in the process and the next few season spells doom for Dallas

Great trade for the Nets...they build for the future and they also get a solid big man in Diop along with plenty of expiring contracts that provide cap space to look for free agents over the summer that they can acquire and build around (Arenas, Brand, Jamison, Marion, Artest, etc)

This creates a nightmare for the NBA because the talent level has gone significantly up in the West now and its stacked with more all stars...talking about all stars, does Kidd play on the West team or the East team now that he's already voted in as the starter of the East???? Thats a headache the league is gonna have to deal with for the next couple of days
*sigh* the nets are gona start to fall apart now that kidd is gone. I guess its back to cheering the knicks
they gave up too much for jason kidd

Ok this is the trade that would help the Lakers, Kings and Bulls, or is it not?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

Ok this is the trade that would help the Lakers, Kings and Bulls, or is it not?nba salary cap

that would never happen cause it's the biggest rip-off for the bulls. this trade would be more like it.

bulls, kings, rockets

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

they will cause it'll free up cap. all they need to do is make ben wallace POWER FORWARD and pair him up with miller. that'd be sick.

Ok this is the trade that would help the Lakers, Kings and Bulls, or is it not?nba rumors ,nba teams

wow...just cuz the salaries match doesn't make it work....
Wow! R u serious!

You must not know basketball at all. So many things wrong with this trade. First off, Lakers would never send kobe to sac town, and kobe wouldnt want to go there. Chicago is so ripped of by this trade. Who the hell needs kenny thomas and garcia.

One hint: Never be a general manager for a team
Kobe would never OK this. . . .
i dont even have to look at the entire trade to know this is horrible. 1st of all sacramento gives up nothing and gets the best player in the game. how is that fair? 2nd of all, kobe has a no trade clause, what makes you think he wants to land in cow tipping country? the bulls lose 2 good players for 2 crap players. somehow i feel you either hate the bulls or you love the kings too much.
that would never work, wow u r bad!!!!!!!
No, because I don't want Kobe in Sac, and the bulls are not getting anything, out of this, and the lakers, well it's up to them. But no,... not a good trade
What????

Dude, the bulls are basically getting no one and giving up Ben and Luol..............ur crazeee

If you are a Net fan, this would be a trade you would hate, those four losers are chemistry killers and are grossly overrated. If you have Jason Kidd they should settle for nothing less that at least 1 all-star and 2 top 5 draft picks.

I would take Jason Kidd anyday over all other point guards including steve nash (not knocking nash though, he would be #2)

How about work a trade where Kidd can go to Boston!

New Cavs,Nets and Heat trade............?nba history ,nba teams

Not bad, do not think the Heat will go for it with Larry Hughes having 3 years left at 12 million per. Otherwise Nets/Cavs look real good.
Are you serious? All the players that the Nets are getting suck!!! We are giving up Sean Williams, who is a future talent in this league. Terrible trade for the Nets. BTW Im a Nets fan, if you haven't figured that out.

The 2008 NBA champion will be a surprise winner like a team that did not make a blockbuster trade in either the preseason or during this current season.

Maybe in alphabetical order: Denver, Detroit, New Orleans, Utah. Golden State would be a long shot.

Don't know if Boston will stay healthy in the playoffs.

It will be hard for teams like Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Antonio to put together a team that can play together and which will play as one unit in thirty some odd games as Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix have made blockbuster trades which will change their entire offense.

San Antonio only picked up a solid reserve while the Spurs have a slight chance of re-signing the injured Barry if someone hasn't already signed him. The Spurs cannot sign Barry for 4 more weeks which should allow him to totally heal and he would fit right back into the rotation as he was having a great first third of the season and a big key to the Spurs during the first half of the season.

If San Antonio loses one of their "Big 3" between now and the end of the season, San Antonio can very conceivably end up as the #8 seed in the West if they go into a tail spin, or, maybe not even make the playoffs at all as the West is stocked with many strong teams while the East (with the exception of Boston and Detroit) is weaker than ever particularly with the trades made in the past week.

I still think that the 2008 NBA champion will come from Denver, Detroit, New Orleans, or Utah.
I think it will be:

Lakers-New Orleans, Lakers in 5 or 6

Cleveland vs Boston- Cleveland in 6

Cleveland vs LA- La in 7, but i want Cleveland to win
West

Lakers vs Hornets ----Hornets might pull it off in 7games but Im going to put my money on Lakers for now, they have been very solid and their bench is also playing well

East

Same as last year

Detroit vs Cleveland---Cleveland will pull it off again thanks to the trade that allows them to spread the floor, and allows Lebron to drive the lane, Plus Wallace should know how to defend against Detroit and help the Cavs pull it off

Finals

Cavs vs Lakers----can go both ways, the games would be very exciting to watch...i want Cleveland to win but I think that Lakers are a better team at this point
Lakers win in 5 over New Orleans

Cleveland win in 6 over Boston

Lakers win in 6 over Cavs

Terry+Howard is too much to give up for Kobe in my opinion. The Mavs are a great championship contender now. They have talent, depth, defense, teamwork, not they need a little more intensity than 2006 to push it through.
That trade stinks. The Mavs get Kobe, but for giving up Jason Terry, Josh Howard, and Desagana Diop. Jason Terry is one of the Best here point shooters in the game. Josh Howard, who is extremely underrated, is a rising star. When Dirk isn't playing well, he's there very often to pick up a lot of the slack. Desagana Diop is a really good bench player. He can come of the bench and play very good defense. He can play a little offense too. Kobe is one player. He can't fill in for all of those spots.
It could work, but it would seem Cupcake would want more after he saw how much the twolves got for Garnett.
Trust me with the GM the lakers have right now you might only have to offer just terry for kobe, Mitch Cupcake does stupid things in trading situations.

Should the Celtics make a trade for Steve Blake?

Frank Isola on NBA TV said he could fit in to system and might just be the missing piece to the championship team they been assembling.

Should the Celtics make a trade for Steve Blake?nba salary

i'm the white Larry Bird.

Should the Celtics make a trade for Steve Blake?nba jerseys ,nba teams

Woa I don't think so, never heard of that guy until I just looked him up.
I say yes, but really what are the Celtics going to offer other teams. This has been the debate about the team. Yes the Big 3 look good on Paper but man "O" man their pockets are full w/Garnett's contract, Ray Allen and Peirce. Its crazy.

Steven Blake is a good shooter from all-areas from the court.

I would want him on my team. Rondo can't do that at such a young age!!
I don't know what the Celtics have to offer us, but we'll listen.
no
Rondo does not turn the ball over. In the first three games he is logging heavy minutes considering the blowouts (31) and is averaging only 2.7 turnovers He has explosive speed off the dribble and will be in the top 3 in the NBA in steals. Can Steve Blake come close to that kinda of performace? I don't think so.
Don't know steve is good but they need a better PG than him.Besides if they are gonna add a player, they should add a big man
yes they should
My friend was saying this like 3 days ago..they should of got Blake when he was a free agent..but they didn't have KG, then o_0...but they really could use him..he would be alot better then Rondo.
At this point the Celtics should go with what they have and see how things work. They are 2 - 0, so it looks good so far. Bringing in someone who does not know the system they have been working on since the start of training camp (and before in mini-camps) would be of limited value right now. I would not be opposed to trading away future draft picks if the need surfaces, because it should be a win it now attitude with this talented team.
No they are fine as is. Celtics is my team yo. We dont need no Steve blake.
I doubt that.

Is this good trade?

how do you email the lakers if you wanted to?

Is this good trade?nhl

I think it's a good overall trade. Caron butler has been playing great lately and so has josh smith. The hawks get turiaff and arenas. The wizards did okay. They would get joe johnson, who has his explosive nights.

Is this good trade?nba street homecourt ,nba teams

For Atlanta it a no brainer

For Washington you take it but its risky

For the Lakers, you dont do it. You lose 3 3-point shooters and with Kobe you need shooters. Though they would be better defensively with Smith and Butler.
That is unfair for the Lakers and too good for a trade for the Hawks. I don't think that would work out that great.

And the only way you could email the Lakers is by going through their website, www.nba.com/lakers
A lot of talent would be going to the Hawks

and i would really like that

i think this trade is pretty good

you did a good job on this one

i like best answers!
Lakers aren't giving up much and the other 2 are giving up bona fide superstars. You can't even put arenas in the same sentence with those guys unless you are willing to trade Kobe.
no don't know

Is K.G. getting trade to the Celtics?

Allan, Pierce and K.G. on a team?

Check hoopstyle.com and nba.com if you dont believe me.

Is K.G. getting trade to the Celtics?nba salaries

i saw that article... if that does work out for the celtics then they beefed up so hard in one offseason to the point where you gotta say they are the favorites to win the east and make a strong run at a championship.. especially if ray allen's ankles are good i'd be worried if i was the rest of the league.. kg pierce and allen... what a nutty trio.

Is K.G. getting trade to the Celtics?nba playoff ,nba teams

i doubt it
i also read that on the msn homepage that it might happen. unless the celtics give up ray allen or al jefferson, they would b a real threat throughout the nba
I know about the trade, its not gonna happen because then garnett would only be on the celtics for a year cuz his contract expires in a year.
if i were minnesota i would ask for rajon rondo. this kid can be really good in the future. and if youre minnesota you want to pry away as many good players as you can from boston.

KG wants 5 yrs 125 mill. with that and PP and Allens large contracts, things can be disastrous for boston in the near future. 3 players making like 60-70 million isnt good for the future.
i really hope this trade happens because the east and the west will be balanced out better, the west will still be WAY better but it would still balance out s bit
This deal is almost done ... the Celtics are just trying to get KG to sign an extention to keep him in Boston for a longer period of time. In return Minnesota will be getting Al Jefferson, Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff, and maybe even Gerald Green or a future draft pick.

This will put the Celtics in the East Finals and give them a shot at a title. WOW.

**OPENING NIGHT STARTING ROSTER**

PG- Rondo

SG- Allen

PF- Pierce

SF- Garnett

This would be great. 4 strong positions with superstars but what's Timberwolves gonna get in return?

its a good trade seeing that the cavs don't use snow and r looking 4 a point guard with experience.....the trade is good but the cavs are already having trouble payin hughes who is underachieving an thier not going to take in kidd, a point guard past his prime, and his large contract unless the nets agree to pay some of it off (good trade but money is an issue)

Look at This Killer trade!!?nba draft lottery ,nba teams

snow and hughes r good and no doubt kidd is but i think lebron will over shadow kidd lol Report It

are you all high. marcus williams is the nets pg of the future why on earth would they want eric snow plus streaky larry hughes? there's no future potential in either of them. Report It

looks solid to me
That trade will greatly benefit the Cavs but not the Nets. Seeing Lebron play with one of the best pointguards the NBA has ever seen will really be exciting. But the same could not be said about the Nets. Hughes, Carter and Jefferson practically play the same position. So that trade won't work fairly.
the nets get nothing from this. hughes is overpaid and overrated. they dont an expiring contract, picks, anything of value from this. kidd/lebron would be great for the cavs. nets..? not so much.
Not fair for the Nets.
I'm sure Nets will trade one of the best point guards of all time for a has been and a never will be... the trade machine just matches $$$..

Just shows poor management from the Cavs in giving Hughes such a big contract...
wow, LeBron's assist would plummet
Not bad for both teams.
looks good on paper
It'll kill the Nets and benefit the Cavs...They're in the same division..it's not going to happen...
how bout thin one?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...
not a good trade...do u thnk the nets will accept snow? dat will not happen.. and besides, why would they accept hughes? they already have carter (LVP) hu plays SG..they need a big man hu can play defense dats why they were asking for bynum..period!

That would certainly give Cleveland a boost with gooden and marshall and wesley getting old. They get good young players who can develop along with lebron and peak at the same time he does.

Good trade.

What about this trade??nba playoff bracket ,nba teams

Maybe you're a Cavs fan because the Raptors would never do this trade.
I like the trade because Bosh would get his help in the post and Cleveland gets a point guard
no chance that toronto would trade the number 1 overall pick just last season. they are getting robbed in this trade, sorry but it has ZERO chance of occuring, but keep trying.

Comment on this trade scenario.. Tweak it a little..?nfl

This is a good trade. Personally if I was New Jersey, I'd accept the trade. I hate Troy Hudson because he gets paid so much and for what? NOTHING. Hudson has proved that he doesn't deserve that money and he's demanding a trade but won't accept a buy-out of his contract. He's pathetic. But by New Jersey acquiring Davis, they'd be running the fast break better and their offense will be more up-tempo than it already is. Davis can run the cut and compliments Kidd/Carter more than Jefferson. Good trade.

Comment on this trade scenario.. Tweak it a little..?nba power rankings ,nba teams

I don't think this trade would accomplish much. RJ is a better fit for the Nets IMO. Ricky Davis can play small forward, but his game is better suited as a shooting guard. Vince just resigned so Ricky would be playing second fiddle at that position and Marcus Williams is JKidd's backup at point so I think this trade would effectively give the Nets 2nd and 3rd team players instead of having a solid starter.
There's no way NJ trades out the better player, to receive a downgrade in the wing and a 3rd string PG. There's no way NJ trades RJ if its not for a proven big...
The Nets felt like they took a great risk by picking a troubled guy in Sean Williams so Ricky Davis isn't helping them much. RJ is the key if the Nets want a valuable big man(i.e. Jermaine O'Neal) so they won't trade for 2 guys smaller than him. Hudson's career is pretty much over and if the Nets took him then they would just buy him out like the Blazers did with Steve Francis. Maybe something like RJ, Sean Williams, Marcus Williams for KG with another team involved would be better, especially since KG gets sent to the Eastern Conference.
I don't know. I mean Richard Jefferson is an All-Star caliber G/F. Whereas, Troy Hudson and Ricky Davis have as many All-Star appearences as me....only as a spectator. KG would have a decent supporting teammate since Sam Cassell and Latrell Spreewell. But the Nets would be killing their playoff chances with Davis. Davis plays when he wants to. And if you want to win an NBA title, you don't need a player like that on your team. Hudson is a decent player coming off the bench, but the Nets have decent guards off the bench now....rethink that trade a little.
its dumb kuz da T-wolves relay need to trade KG to Golden State if u feelin me hahaa
This is probably the best trade I've seen lately.
ya id say this is pretty decent, throw in marcus williams in that deal and minny will take it

Is K.G. getting trade to the Celtics?

PG- Rondo

SG- Allen

PF- Pierce

SF- Garnett

C- Perkins
This would be great. 4 strong positions with superstars but what's Timberwolves gonna get in return?
I saw that on NBA.com. That would be an awesome team if that did happen

This a good trade? Nets Hawks and Nuggets?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

good for Nets and not too good for hawks.......

This a good trade? Nets Hawks and Nuggets?lebron james

You kind of blew up the Nets and the Hawks to give Josh Smith and Jason Kidd to the Nuggets. I don't think the Hawks would be willing to part with Josh Smith at the moment, and not a lot of teams want Vince Carter. The Hawks get two "have-beens" for a slew of their young and developing stars. Denver gets two solid additions, making them contenders at least for a year or two, but also HAVE to move to small ball because you traded away all their big men (Camby, Nene, and Kenyon Martin), which the Nets will have an abundance of with the emergence of Josh Boone and Sean Williams. While the Hawks might be willing to part with Joe Johnson and probably want to get rid of Speedy Claxton, I don't know that they are getting much in return. None of the lineups would really work out except maybe Atlanta, but they get two players they don't really want.

This a good trade? Nets Hawks and Nuggets?nba live 2008 ,nba teams

if you said its a bad trade for the hawks, then you've already answered your question.
This trade would be horrible for the nuggets and good for the Nets and Hawks.
it's actually one of the best nba trades ive seen on Yahoo! Answers! Everybody gets better.
wow amazing trade wish it happend in real life lol
Yea thats bad for the hawks if they could do a package and still keep josh smith and joe johnson plus get martin and carter that could work for a playoff push this year and maybe next year
Love it if i were a nets fan
Vince and Kenyon are over-rated and cost to much]

bad trade for the hawks
no.
I am amazed you are parting Camby from Nuggets to have Jason Kidd and Josh Smith. In fact Camby, Nene and Martin. So who's going to start at forward-center?

Kidd-Iverson-Melo-Kleiza-Smith?

I think that Sacramento gets hosed, big time! Both Hughes and Walker are inconsistant shooters, and spend too much time on the DL. Walker couldn't guard a glacier. I think that Miami and Cleveland, however, come out pretty good on this trade. Shaq for Big Z is a pretty even trade, at this point in Shaq's career. Both teams get rid of fat, undesirable contracts at Sacramento's expense. Artest still has value, but he needs strong leadership, just like Dennis Rodman did when he played. I think that Wade and Pat Riley could provide that for him. I think that Mike Bibby would be the perfect point guard to play alongside Lebron. He's smart, takes care of the ball, and is money in the clutch. O'Neal still has some game left, but like Robert Horry, he has started to take the regular season off so he is fresh for the playoffs.
Sorry but the Kings are giving up way too much and receiving too little. Who wants a worn out Antoine Walker and Hughes who shoots bricks to make his house. There's no way Miami would give up Shaq anyway. This trade would not work for any team.
probably yeea

buh i dont want shaq playing with lebron i hate lebron
no the trade would not work it a bad idea why put a player with a better or worst team it was never a good idea at all

That would make the lakers unstopable great trade

Look at this awesome trade to bring in some youth to Laker Land?nba salaries ,nba teams

Yes that brings in youth but most of them are going to be avaerage players at best. Plus there is no way they would want to bring in 9 players because they would end up either cutting some of them or have to cut some of the players they currently have. Try figuring out a trade that uses even amounts of players to each team. Plus Memphis is getting 2 players whose combined salary's are almost $30,000,000. That might not be beneficial either. I have seen you posting these trades on here and both of them I have seen have been poor trades. Keep working at it though, I know that ESPN Trade Machine is addicting.
it looks good for bulls and thats it. Kobe is still gonna be a one-man show without Gasol. And Memphis just lost half of their team for two center with no offense skill whatsoever. And the Lakers have traded only 2 people and get a million people. There xcan only be 16 people the team you know that right? So this not a good traded in anyway.

the lakers give up kobe for a bunch of no good players again theyd need to cut some

orlando gives up howard for roy
portland will not trade oden, aldridge and roy.

if this trade was true, portland can't get any more players to fill the team. hahhaaha
portland fan im guessing? haha
Dude its a nice trade but 3 player cant make a team you need at least five hahahahahahahahha...........
if this trade was made, Portland would get three all-stars sure but they'd give away an entire roster. They'd have like 5 people on their team. And Oden doesn't fit the suns system fyi

This trade?tv on pc ,nba teams

Wallace really isn't that good. He is highly overrated. Maybe if he applied himself once a year....
Hell no, simply because WE DON"T WANT KWAME BROWN
I think Wallace will be an all-star with the Lakers for a long time

I like that trade

But what happens with Odom when he comes back?

Wallace at power forward...... Odom in the middle and Kobe bringing up the ball?

Wow

I see titles
At least us laker fans say bye to Kwame Clown Brown
I don't think it makes much sense for either side.

It will cripple the Lakers salary cap wise until Big Ben's contract expires and they are already set long term at C/PF with Bynum and Odom. While Wallace will help cover Bynum's absence this season he will be a $15mill per year back up from then on!

Brown's has a bad contract taht is about to expire and the last thing the lakers want to do is replace it with an even worse contract.

For the Bulls it would give them cap space but I don't think they're written off this year quite yet. Yeah, they've been bad but they're only 2 games out of the playoffs in the east and the teams ahead of them Atlanta, Indiana and New Jersey aren't exactly jauggernauts.

Getting Brown or Radmanovic wont address the need for a post scorer which is their biggest weakness.
what a stupid trade for both teams! nobody wants to take ben wallaces money! and no one wants kwame brown! not even his own mother!just kidding but it wouldn't make a lick of sense
That's not so much a trade as it is an accounting maneuver. I know what you're getting at, but I don't think it helps either team out appreciably, especially since none of the players helps the new team much until Kwame's contract comes off the books.

Great deal and I do think that this in real life that trade would be possible to make but probably if the lakers are going to trade Kobe it would be by december or a little while before the trade deadline if:

Lakers get off to a bad start(which is nearly 100% gonna happen).

Mavs feel like they are a little behind from the top of the NBA(probably the 4th best team:Suns,Spurs,Celtics)and want to make that big push over those teams.

Only way Kobe doesn't go to Dallas is if Chi-town Blows the Lakers away with a even bigger deal(Deng,Kirk, ect.) but other than that Perfect deal.

Is this an AWESOME trade or what??nba tickets ,nba teams

Sorry, to tell ya pal. haere is no way that is going to happen.
No this is not an awesome trade, and you are not a real maverick fan. If you were a real maverick fan you would want our lineup that has worked so hard these past years to stay the same. They do not deserve to be traded for Kobe no matter what.
lakers might go for that one. i still say stick with what we got. young guys are coming along nicely. if you get a chance watch brandon bass play. he's a beast in the lane
I dont like it..Kobe is a legend in L.A.but know matter what Kobe will always be my favorite player.
yes, this is a really great trade, sure the mavs lose 2 starters, but they gain the best player in the western conference. they also gain a good backup in radmonivic and turiaf could eventually end up being pretty good. It make it so the mavs have the 2 best players in the western conference, which would make them even better than they already are.
im a huge mavs fan, and no it is not. our lineup is fine, we dont want kobe. Cuban stated last night " The MVP is untouchable, Dirk isnt going nowhere. besides, ur trade is taking too many players from dallas. and the lakers will not want terry and dampier. they said they want young players
It's a way btter trade for the MAVS for the Lakers 9th to 8th spot for a while.
this would the best trade ever i love the mavs there the best team ever so yeah it would
yes
no i wont take that deal if i the lakers

HOW ABOUT THIS TRADe...?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

HOW ABOUT THIS TRADe...?football

wont trade not roy. so no.

HOW ABOUT THIS TRADe...?lakers ,nba teams

that would never happen. the suns wouldn't want to take on lafenz's contract and the trail blazers are NOT going to give up roy
I am sorry but after CP3 and Lebron Brandon Roy is the future of the NBA. Also Portland doesn't need a center because they go 2 young ones in LaMarcus Alridge and Greg Oden. Also there would be no room in phoenix for roy because they got raja bell, grant hill, barbosa and more competing for the shooting guard position.
I'm not sure why either team would do that deal: The Suns already have a point guard in Steve Nash and why would you get rid of size in Amare- especially being in the West where you have to face: Nowitzki (Dal), Boozer (Utah), Gasol/Bynum (Lal), ... Plus the Blazers have Oden and Alridge so you don't need another big-man inside. Brandon Roy is a heck of a point guard and the Blazers just wouldn't do that. On top of that i doubt Phoenix would want to take on Raef's contract. Overall a no-make sense deal that really would change the dynamic of each team.

Nickster
amare is better then roy at this moment, and i dont see why you would want him anyway when you have a younger cheaper guy in aldrige who is getting the job done. i honestly can't see how this helps the suns anyway. amere is still young, and he will be playing like he did a couple years ago. he is still recovering. and we all know how good amare was. only a fool would give him up

and the blazers would be fools to give up roy too. this team is like a puzzle where all the peaces fit. when they get oden back, i see him bringing defense better then amare
not happening. They would only be willing to take on Lafrentz's contract if it ran out after this season.
stoudemire is 2years older(and portland wants to keep it young) and roy is a great leader...and portland has oden, aldridge and frye...they dont need amare
The idea of getting Stoudamire is good but why in the world would you give up Brandon Roy? He's the present and future of your franchise. He's an all-star and a future MVP. Giving up Roy would be a bad move.
worst trade ever...stoudemire is the most overrated player in the league. ill ask a question; what does that bum do well? all of his scoring is completely generated by nash, he has lost most of his athleticism after his surgery, he cant shoot consistently, he doesnt defend and he doesnt rebound. roy is a good scorer, leader, defender, and playmaker.roy is twice the player stoudemire is, not to mention portland doesnt need another big man

p.s. travis outlaw is going to be very very good. just thought i would mention that while talking about portland

How bout this franchise trade?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

The Warriors will get a future possible MVP for two All-Star, bright future young players. Warriors just need to shift Davis over to SG and this gives Brandan Wright more playing time to blossom as a player. As for Hornets, they can teach Ellis to play point and just play big, moving Peja up to SG, SF West, PF Biedrins, and C Chandler. This also adds depth to their bench.

How bout this franchise trade?nba update

this is a major downgrade for the hornets.

I'm not saying Ellis is bad or overrated, but he's not as good as chris paul, and biedrins would not matter in NOH with chandler and david west, so this is a pretty bad trade for the hornets.

Especially considering how good they're doing right now. bad trade.

I do not think the Lakers would do that trade.
lakers lost their two best players for three shitty playes..
I don't think that this is a good trade, because if it were to happen, The Lakers would lose Kobe and Lamar Odom and there would be no one for Jackson to run the triangle offense through. Besides, who would want Artest in LA. He would get distracted his first week out there. The Bucks lose their leading scorer and get a injury prone forward, and they already have one of those. The Kings get Kobe, and I don't think Kobe really wants to go to a team that has the same situation that he had when he was in LA.
The Lakers certainly got the best of the deal.
Not just no, but HELL NO!!!
I think its a stupid trade. Is that something that might happen or is it a fantasy thing.
Are you serious 2 of the lakers best players! Odom is nothing but health problems, im sure they would love to get rid of him for Redd Bibby and Artest!

Thats a good trade, but if you put Yi in, that trade would probably work in the NBA because Yi wants to go and the Kings wanted Yi
Take it from a Sac-fan...Artest is most likely not going to be traded to Milwaukee for those three (unless they are good rebounders). Artest is the only defense that the Kings have.
Good trade but kings will not accept
I think it is a good trade because the bucks do need another scorer , and Artest does average just under nineteen a game

That trade is unrealistic and never will happen. The 76ers want to get younger and get some cap space as seen with AI going to Denver. Even if the trade does go down, it won't make the 76ers a championship team.

Laker fans!! Do we trade up in the draft, and get Durant or Oden, if they leave college early?

What can this team do to get back in the higher-echelon of the NBA? Kobe is carrying the team. He's going to have a heart attack, working so hard under all that stress just to get the team a "W". Four straight games of over 50 points. He can't keep that up. LA needs Durant, or Oden, or BOTH! I know, fat chance on that, but they do need some of the topcollegehoops guys to get them back in the playoffs, and ultimately to win the finals! We might not even need anycollegeguys. We can go free agency. Just get some guys in there that can play, that have star power!

I don't know about this. The Nets and Kings are basically the same team: They should be in rebuilding mode. This trade might help the Nets from a pure value standpoint, but it doesn't make them better and Brad Miller's contract doesn't help the rebuilding process.

The Kings are trying to get rid of an overpriced point guard, why would they trade for one? I guess watching Kidd over the next 1.5 years instead of Bibby is an upgrade, but that's about it.

And for the Hawks? Come on. They are trading away half their roster.
kidd wants to go to a CONTENDER not a crappy team

nets get hosed in this deal, do you honestly think they want brad miller? who is old and way past his prime? there is a reason why team USA dumped his @ss. lue childress and zaza dont make up for the loss of kidd either.
A bit lopsided, with the Hawks giving up 6 players and only gving up two in return. The only reason the Nets haven't traded Kidd yet is because the want quality players for him. Shelden and Zaza are far from what Rod Thorn wants.

Kobe-bulls again (trade)?nba season ,nba teams

Besides the fact that the bulls are not going to trade with the lakers. The trade you have come up with is ridiculous. 5 guards for one guard. The bulls would only have kobe as their guard. and the lakers would have 8/9 guards. bulls would rather give up tyrus thomas than sefelosha . As a bulls fan i would easily give away TT instead of sefalosha. Sefa can D up. I would be happy to give away duhon, but its probably not likely that the lakers would want him. Kobe probably would not like to play with fellow ball handlers like Kirk, sefelosha could stay because he can play the point while kobe plays the 2 guard and handles the ball.
Trade talks are dead with the Bulls.....for now.

are you all high. marcus williams is the nets pg of the future why on earth would they want eric snow plus streaky larry hughes? there's no future potential in either of them. Report It

looks solid to me
That trade will greatly benefit the Cavs but not the Nets.

Zach Randolph reasonable trade?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/tr...

I'm not a fan of either team, so I couldn't care less who it favours, It just seemed fair enough. It would Philly a chance to draft a pg and have a solid back up. And with Green at SG and AI2 at SF They would have a solid, young line up with a legit scorer. Portland would fill every need if they drafted Oden and be a team to beat right away.

So why do you think the execs wouldn't do it? (something that a 2nd round pick couldn't fix).

Also interested on where you think Zach could end up.

Zach Randolph reasonable trade?nba spurs

Pretty good trade. If Philly got someone like a Acie Law with their pick or maybe that Finnish kid, that could really make some sense. Andre Miller has been underestimated everywhere he has gone and he would be a servicable point guard that would give Portland 8-10 dimes a game and keep Oden happy down low. If Zach Randolph isn't going to resign with Portland, then now is the time to trade him.

I'm a philly fan and I love this idea accept for the other guy they are getting instead of Zach Randolph...It's good because if the sixers can also trade up in the draft then they could get 1 of 2 great p.g. to replace Andre Miller...those 2 being Acie Law and Mike Conley Jr....if they can get a p.g. I'm all for it...it's a great deal for the sixers and a point guard is what Portland needs so if they get Andre Miller and draft Greg Oden...it's a great deal.
it would be a bad trade for philly. their trading away kyle korver who is getting better and better and andre miller who is very good for zach randolf. bad trade for philidelphia good trade for portland.
i can see zach playing for philly. However, philly needs leadership and Their players are developing . Zach's numbers are great but to me I don't know if they wanna lean their franchise on him. a trade to boston would be good for himand pierce could stay.

When their starting point guard who cant shoot is their 4th best player it has me thinking can they win the NBA title if either pierce, garnett, or ray allen is in foul trouble, struggles in a post season series, or is injured for couple games in the series.

i think Boston made a good trade because when they acquired ray Allen on draft night they made it clear that they are going for present then future. Now they get garnett who is the best PF in the NBA although they gave up future talent in Jefferson and green they got garnett. Now if you look in Boston idea some free agents like Chris webber who like to win a championship may sign with Celtics and at the PG spot they are veteran free agents like Brevin Knight, Dee Brown, and Gary Payton who might help rajon rondo. i think in finally Chris webber signs with Boston and if he signs the line up is going to be:

a little too much
They did trade quite a lot to get him, especially Gerald Green, he has definitely improved the last couple of years, and its gonna hit the Celtics next year with some draft picks being involved as well. They would be a lot better if they had somebody like Bruce Bowen- just somebody that could shut a offensive player down and shoot a high percentage from 3 pt. range.
From a players / talent stand point more than likely. I like KG but 7 players for one is a bit much. Add in the cap issues it brings and it makes it worse when the other two stars have injury histories. But from a marketing stand point it was worth it. People are talking about and showing an interest in the Celtics. After being so bad for so long they needed to make a splash.
i dont think that they did i mean none of those players had nearly as much experence as kg did even if kg is getting old but the celtics needed some talent which is exactly what kg has. the celtics have what they had years ago with the big 3 and now kevin garrnet, paul pierce, and ray allen will win the championship soon
i think so. boston gave up an awful lot for KG. basically 7 players if you include the 2 1st rounders in 09. the wolves will suck for a little but in 3 years or so, watch out, they have a lot of good young talent. some say jefferson will be a 20/10 guy in 2-3 years. green and gomes are super talented and have tons of potential. and who knows what players will be in the 09 draft. the trade leaves boston with no bench and no depth whatsoever. but maybe they wont need it. all in all, i think it was a good move by both teams. wolves were rebuilding and werent winning with KG anyway. while the celtics and pierce wanted to win now.
They traded for front page relevance, competing with the likes of the Red Sox and the Patriots. Even if they dont win the title or even make it to the Eastern Conference championship, they're back in the forefront. KG creates buzz in Beantown and buzz sells tickets, merchandise and revenue increases across the board.
KG is priceless man. So no they didnt. i Miss KG in MN
The Celtics may have given up many players for this trade but Garnett is amazing. Look at the Wolves now, they're not going to get anywhere. Having 3 all stars and 3 future hall of famers makes a big difference.
No they gave up only one potential star in jefferson, green won't be a star he has deshawn stevenson 5 years ago written all over him. 2 picks, one which was the wolves to begin with because of the davis/sczerbiak trade and the other is lottery protected. Telfair who was done in boston anyway. Gomes a solid role player and ratliff who will help them more next summer when his contracts up and they can use his money to sign free agents.
I really liked Boston as a younger team. And I liked watching Gearald Green and Big Al improving. But its not a total loss cuz we got one of the best PF in the NBA!
you know, I live in New England and for years, all 3 Boston major league teams have been very stingy, right? Suddenly, this year, all three teams go out and spend big bucks for major talent. Makes me think there was a "meeting of the minds" in Boston. Like maybe politicians and the movers and shakers up there have a Master Plan for the City. Anyway, no, I don't think they traded too much because they traded the future for the present. Who among us may not be alive to see the Celtics come to fruition 3 or 4 years from now???
Time will tell...

We have to see how the Pierce, Allen, KG combo works out. It takes not only talent but chemistry to make a winning team. There is potential for ego problems with 3 genuine stars!

Remember the Malone/Payton enhanced Laker's couldn't even bring them a title.

Fair and Good Trade?

Fair and Good Trade?nba sports

No, I don't think it is.

The problem with this is you severely weaken Golden State's frontcourt depth with this deal. If they did this they would end up with KG as your only veteran frontcourt guy with two rookies as the only other forwards in Brandan Wright and Stephane Lasme. This forces the Warriors to play KG at center instead of PF where he prefers to play.

With the Wolves' current makeup I don't know that they have any real interest in Al Harrington when they just picked up Corey Brewer in the draft. I would assume they like Craig Smith more than Foyle and as was already mentioned O'Bryant is close to being a bust and reports out of the summer leagues were that he looked like he really wasn't trying and looked lost out on the floor.

Biedrins would probably be the only player the Wolves' would have any real interest in and that is just not enough for a guy like KG.

Fair and Good Trade?basketball players ,nba teams

it is a very good trade Report It

hey man, im a warrior fan and this is just straight robbery by mullin. foyle sucks, POB is on the verge of being a bust, the only real pieces here are harrington and biedrins. and those two arent even enough to get KG. id love for it to happen but it will never go through.
What you're offering is crap to Minnesota and they would just laugh seeing that trade. Offer Biedrens, Monta Ellis, Harrington and Foyle then maybe they'd take a look at that. You're trade is just straight up one-sided and just robbing Minnesota.
If your Goldenstate take it Baron and KG.
golden states gotta team now.........i can see them winning next year
lol timberwolves are losing out
I'm a Warriors fan and I absolutely love this trade!!!!!!!
no

1. t-wolves don't want 4 more pricy big men

Perkins Scaladrane and Rondo are fine where there at in Boston

I don't like your trade
I don't think it will happen. Ainge personally picked Rondo and Perkins. He's going to let this team ride it out.
If I'm Boston, I'm not messing with anything. They look like the team to beat in the NBA right now.
I agree. I would not touch this trade if I am Boston.
for boston, pacers are getting RIPPED!!!!!!!!!!
